Waka Brown

Waka T. Brown is the award-winning author of the middle grade memoir While I Was Away (Quill Tree/HarperCollins, 2021), Dream, Annie, Dream (Quill Tree/HarperCollins, 2022), and The Very Unfortunate Wish of Melony Yoshimura (Quill Tree/HarperCollins, 2023). Waka has also authored a variety of units and teacher’s guides on international topics through her work with the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education. She is represented by Penny Moore at Aevitas Creative Management.
