Sita Singh was born and raised in India, immigrated to the United States in 1999, and currently lives in South Florida with her husband, three children, and an insanely cute and curious dog. Sita writes heart-warming stories with a South Asian backdrop. Her writing is inspired by a lack of representation in children’s literature, her experiences of raising children across two cultures, and her own understanding of living in the East and West. Sita’s debut picture book, BIRDS OF A FEATHER, a story of the colorless peacock, is about finding strength in things that make us different, and beauty in all its forms.
