Maxie Villavicencio Pulliam
Maxie is the author of illustrated biography, “FIERCE FILIPINA: Inspired by the Life of Gliceria Marella de Villavicencio.” The book is about her great-great-grandmother, a historical figure during the Philippine Revolution, and her relentless pursuit of equality and social justice. Outside her new venture of writing and publishing, Maxie is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Master of Social Work program and is a longtime public servant. Maxie presently resides in Southern California.
