Lakshmi is a software engineer and an author. She has an MBA from LeBow College of Business, a Certificate in Creative Writing from Simon Fraser University and completion of the summer intensive Yale Writers Workshop. Lakshmi is the author of a blog on parenting and adoption and of the children’s book, “Why Is My Hair Curly?”. Her family is the subject of the upcoming documentary, “Our Daughters.” Lakshmi and her husband are parents by adoption and biology.
